Truckin' off the highway 30
I stumbled upon Spin Tires somewhat by accident and was intrigued enough to download the Dec '11 Demo. What a load of fun, I dunked and swum my 6x6 down a creek, severly damaged the environment and loved every minute of my poor driving experience.
Everything ran smoothly on my quad core, OS XP SP3 2gb, 512mb ATi card, so no complaints there. The vehicle physics seemed okay, but I'd love the release version to have joystick controls, I'm not good with using the keyboard for driving sims.
I found one small bug and reported it...the rev counter worked backwards, but this is a beta and they requested feedback, which I gave them.
Verdict: LOVE IT! WANT IT! Recommended.
