Since the map editor stickies' images are not working  I have to ask here.

I am making a small map, and since I have modded maps the media folders etc in the editor contain those custom objects for me to use.

How to package everything together so I can zip it and someone can try it? How do I find "custom fence" for example and package that in with the level stg and level dds?

Hope that makes sense.. I am completely clueless on this side but I want to at least try.

TL;DR

I have a fair amount of custom objects, using some in the map im making, how do I put it all together/where do I find them?

If I need permission from the person that made the objects, I can easily remove them and subsititute.

yes you mush have in the map folder this folders

MapFolder

--Media

----classes

--------------models

----meshes

--------------models

----textures

-Any extensionless file

and if you're using extensionless files you have to add them with their respective textures files in the root of the media folder

The best bet is that you don't use others peoples custom models. Unless you know for sure that it would be okay. This issue is actually keeping my map release on hold for a short bit.

OK, if they're packaged up for download on a site, would that be OK then? Seeing as they're essentially a "free for all" and not just used in a single map?

One more thing, how do I put a log into the ground, angle it whatever? When I tried that and got near/touched it, it flipped around and went mental.. Am I out of luck here? I saw on a map this guy had made a fence with them, and they stayed perfectly still, even being "in one another"

use a fixed log instead of regular. The regular logs are meant to move around.
