If you are experiencing issues with the Class 57 controls all you need to do to fix the issue is delete the RailWorks cache. To do this, open RailWorks launch window and click 'Tools & Docs' -> Clear Cache.
Once you've done that its a good idea to close the RailWorks launch window and then restart it. The problem should then be resolved. If you continue to have problems please use our support ticket centre.

Some locomotive information for you;
The Class 57 is a re-engineered locomotive, rebuilt by Brush Traction at Loughborough from redundant Class 47 locomotives.
