Hatchet Hill | Out Now

Out now - Hatchet Hill Quarry is a fictional route with a Class 04 shunter locomotive serving a small quarry industry. The story goes that the Hatchet Hill branch line was closed in 1970, and with no other choice Mendip Aggregates Ltd purchased the line from British Railways in order to maintain their vital rail link with the mainline network in order to continue their supply and demand of ballast from Hatch Hill Quarry. Mendip Aggregates Ltd also purchased two of the Class 04 shunting locomotives that had been slated for the cutters torch which then replaced their tired stock of shunting steam locomotives.

The Hatchet Hill Quarry Expansion Pack includes the Class 04 shunter, Catfish ballast wagons and a 5-mile quarry route complete with ballast loader and the disused Hatchet Hill station standing forlornly at the trackside. Available now, priced £14.99.

  • I love this route cant get enough of it hopefully there will be more scenarios for it maybe using different locos but well done anyway

  • It is a bummer About the 2 broken scenarios but it is easy enough to fix yourself, just remove the cars in the timeline view of the editor and re add them they will work fine after that till they fix it anyway

    many thanks for your new product,but I have a problem with the class 04, it is underpowered and I can't drive my train with all freight cars, in the "Mendip Aggregate Tour" activity.
    Do you think taht you will make an update?
